Think ‘Mad Max Meets Burning Man, but with more challenges and a tug of war’
The Event
Wasteland was our biggest event ever.
With over 100+ tickets sold, we transformed the entire warehouse into a wasteland dystopia for a game of survival.
We gave attendees 3 factions to choose from, 3 lives to use throughout the game, and an intricate storyline at the beginning of the event delivered by the game host ‘Death’
Once the game began, the factions battled it out to complete the challenges, solve the puzzles, and win the tug of war in the dystopian wasteland.
My Role
As this was a complex event with storylines, challenges, and rules - my role was to be the game host ‘Death’ and to ensure all players were ahering to the rules, and were losing lives as needed.
Before this, we spend weeks creating props, decorating the warehouse, designing the games, writing the event description, promoting and vetting the attendees, and hosting crafternoons to help make costumes and decor for the event.
It was a truly incredible event, and I’m so proud of what we made.

No one knows anymore but the fashion's lit.TONIGHT'S GAME: SURVIVAL
We're transforming the entire warehouse into a wasteland dystopia for a game of survival.
When you arrive you'll get a chance to choose your profession and mission, be assigned 3 lives, and lose in the world of Wasteland.
Make sure you're there for the game's kickoff.
ARRIVE BY 7PM FOR THE SHOWDOWN
Arrive by 7pm to get your character, choose a mission and profession, and perhaps form a crew with a few other players to enhance your chance of surviving.
The war for survival kicks off at 8pm and run till 11pm. This is the most fun part of the night so don't miss out. After that we'll crank the music machine and party the night away.
They'll be challenges throughout the night, your personal mission to complete, and a whole lotta chaos to survive.
You'll only have 3 lives so make sure you don't get on the wrong side of The Empress.
WHAT TO BRING
- Friends are welcome! So long as they're legit people who understand consent.
- $45 on the night (cash or card)
- Some drinks to add to the communal stash.
- Cups, we're trying to be earth friendly.

This is the kind of party where *literally everyone* themes up and it's not possible to overdo it.
NO PHONES RULE
This is a 'no phones' event.
You get to be yourself and live in the moment.
They'll be an official photographer who will post instagram friendly pics on the event.IT'S A SAFE SPACE
Being different is celebrated! You'll find people from many cultures, orientations, genders, ages, abilities, sizes and shapes. So there's plenty of space for you.
